Notice to Abbewood HOA Members
Reclaim and paving work will begin the week of June 8 through June 12. Please review the schedule and important community information below carefully.
Paving Schedule & Road Closures
Blue Area
Road Closed: Monday – Wednesday
- Monday, June 8: Reclaiming begins
- Tuesday Evening: Binder course completion anticipated
- Wednesday: Final top course asphalt will be applied
Yellow Area
Road Closed: Wednesday – Friday
- Wednesday: Reclaiming begins
- Area will remain passable on Wednesday only
- Roads will NOT be passable on Thursday
- Friday: Roads reopen to traffic
Curb Installation
Saturday, June 13 – Tuesday, June 16
Curb installation crews will be onsite during this period.
Please drive carefully and use caution around workers and equipment.
Amazon / FedEx Deliveries
Residents are encouraged to:
- Hold deliveries temporarily, or
- Request deliveries after 5:00 PM
This will help reduce traffic congestion and prevent marks or damage to the newly paved asphalt.
Trash & Recycling Pickup
Special thanks to the Town of Enfield for coordinating an early morning trash and recycling pickup on:
- Monday, June 8
- Approximate pickup time: 6:30 AM
This pickup will occur before paving crews arrive at approximately 7:30 AM.
Safety Equipment
Rose Paving will provide:
- Road closed signs
- “Men Working” signage
- Safety cones and related traffic devices
Traffic Control & Resident Assistance
Rose personnel will be onsite to direct traffic when needed.
If a resident requires transportation assistance within the property during closures, accommodations can be made within reason.
Important:
Residents should utilize the secondary small entrance during transition periods and road closure days whenever possible.
This entrance will also remain accessible for emergency vehicles.
Sprinkler Systems
Please be advised that sprinkler systems are located throughout the property.
Crews will work carefully around these systems during construction activities.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as these important roadway improvements are completed.
