Proposed AW 2026-27 Budget

 Hello neighbors,

Looks like the weather is finally warming up and our flowers are starting to bloom. We’re sharing an update on the proposed Abbewood HOA budget and the new monthly common fee for the upcoming fiscal year, July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. 

The proposed monthly common fee is $400. This reflects the total budget of $211,297 divided across 12 months and 44 households. It represents a $30 increase per month and will begin with the July payment. If you participate in the optional landscaping program, please remember to add your landscaping cost to the $400.

The goal of this increase is to reduce the likelihood of future assessments by spreading costs more evenly over time. As our community continues to age, steady investment is needed to maintain the beauty and quality of Abbewood.

More than half of the HOA budget goes toward three essential services:

• Core Landscaping: $66,257
• Tree Work: $18,200
• Winter Services: $40,000

As always, if we end the fiscal year under budget, any surplus will be added to Reserve Savings or RDC Savings.

We will review the full proposed budget and answer questions at the annual meeting on June 2nd. Your participation is appreciated.
